A US Congressman speaks out amidst national and local news about school board tensions regarding masks and Critical Race Theory ideas.
“There’s no data that says it helps him. We know, because we know more about this disease over that last year and a half, let’s use the science and the data that liberals always scream about and make sure we unmask these kids,” said Rodney Davis. “Their survivability rate is virtually 100%. And if somebody has an underlying health condition, let them wear it on their own. If they want to wear a mask, wear the mask. But don’t punish everyone. Just because of some fear that statistics does not backup.”
Rodney said he think people should be concerned about Critical Race Theory and it’s ideas being taught in schools.
“We shouldn’t teach discrimination against anyone, any group, any person. I don’t care who you are, what you look like or what you believe. No one should be discriminated against. This is something that I think is really going to wake up suburban America,” said US Congressman Rodney Davis. Just last week, Davis ran a bill to help the National Children’s Museum.
“The National Children’s Museum is a congressionally chartered museum, but they’re the only one that has to pay rent to the General Services Administration (GSA), which an internal governmental, and you send money in between governmental agencies. They wanted rent from them when they couldn’t be open for the last year and a half. So we made sure we gave him a break on that. But before we did, we made sure we made them take down from their website, any reference to Critical Race Theory and any reference to things that just defy people,” said Davis.
Davis said those are the types of issues that are going to continue to shape those areas that Democrats think they’re gaining votes in.
“Loudon County, Virginia, not necessarily a hotbed of Republican voters right now, it would have been Biden signs mania over there,” said Davis. “They are protesting their school board because of things like this. This is something America has got to wake up to. We want good teachers.”
