A fast-moving disturbance will spread light snow across central Illinois into this evening. The heaviest snow will be focused along the I-80 corridor where 5-6 inches will be likely. Further south, amounts of 4-5 inches will be common from Galesburg to Lacon…3 to 4 inches from Canton to Bloomington…and 1 to 2 inches from Springfield to Paris. Less than 1 inch is expected south of the I-70 corridor.
