Ready for your first glimpse of a Rivian?
The Normal, IL-based automaker plans to debut its electric pick-up truck and SUV at the LA Auto Show in November, according to Engadget.com.
Rivian bought the former Mitsubishi Motors plant in Normal in 2017 for $16 million and the the help of local tax incentives and state EDGE credits. Rivian says it will eventually employ more than 1,000 people when they get into full operataion.
The truck will be ready for consumers in 2020 with the SUV targeted for a 2021 commercial debut.
