The Bloomington City Council is trying to close the $2.9 million dollar deficit for 2019. On the table is ways to improve cost recovery by increasing service fees, like apartment inspections.Interim City Manager also proposed a business registration program and to start charging for downtown parking at special events. The city council approved all three motions, to be sent as a recommendation to city staff.
