Heartland Community College will honor veterans and current members of the U.S. Armed Forces on November 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the atrium of the Workforce Development Center (WDC).
This event is scheduled for Monday, November 11, and features a welcome from Heartland President Keith Cornille and remarks by the College’s new Assistant Director of the Veterans Center, Chance Lauf.
Lauf, a former Heartland student, is a U.S. Army veteran who was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Benning (Italy), and Fort Bragg during his time of service.
After the presentation event, all Veterans and Military-Connected students are invited to the newly opened Penn Family Student Veteran’s Center in WDC 1005 for pizza and to connect with Chance Lauf.
