A comprehensive investigation by the Normal Police Department has led to the arrest of Brady J. Stoewer, 23, of Normal, IL, in connection with multiple charges of criminal sexual assault, abuse, grooming, and child pornography.
The investigation began on June 16, 2024, when police were notified of an alleged incident of criminal sexual abuse involving a juvenile victim. Detectives and officers acted swiftly, gathering information and conducting interviews with the victim and additional juvenile victims identified during the inquiry.
The suspect, an employee at a local tumbling and cheer facility in Normal, was immediately terminated once evidence of criminal conduct was confirmed.
On December 17, 2024, Stoewer was arrested on a McLean County arrest warrant and taken into custody.

- Criminal Sexual Assault/Supervision (Victim aged 13–17): 14 counts
- Criminal Sexual Abuse (Victim under 18/Position of Trust): 4 counts
- Grooming: 2 counts
- Child Pornography (Solicitation of a Minor under 18): 1 count
