Household garbage and recycling will be collected onThanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28, and the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 29.
Bulk waste and brush will not be collected November 28 and November 29. These items will be
collected the following week on the regular collection day. Additionally, we will not be accepting
electronics recycling at the electronics recycling facility on these days.
Leaf collection will take place on Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30, weather
permitting.
Landscape waste pick up for the season will end on November 27. It will resume in April 2025.
Residents are asked to place their garbage and recycling carts at the curb after 6 p.m. on the
day before their regular collection day or by 6 a.m. on the day of collection. Additional information on curbside collections can be found at https://www.normal.org/1112/Curbside-

The only holiday that garbage and recycling is not collected in the Town of Normal is
Christmas Day.
