Bloomington Parks & Recreation will host a free Family Day held Saturday, May 11 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Tipton Park, North Pavilion.
“This free event is for families to have fun while connecting with organizations that support healthy living,” says Program Manager Holly Polley.
Local businesses and organizations will be in attendance and help provide fun activities and games for guests. The vendors in attendance include: All About Fun Inflatables, Autism McLean, Bloomington Police Department, Bloomington Public Library, Boys and Girls Club, Carle Health & Fitness Center, Four Seasons Health Center, Infinity Martial Arts, Inside Out Accessible Art, Iron Coyote Challenge Park, The Language Spot, Miller Park Zoo, The Next Step Dance Studio, OSF, Rader Family Farms, Reconcile Church, Redbird Esports, State Farm, and Upper Limits.
“This is a great way for community members to have a fun day and learn about all the new programs and facilities that Bloomington Parks has to offer this Summer,” says Parks and Recreation Marketing Manager Thom Rakestraw.
