At its meeting on Wednesday the Bloomington Planning Commission approved an amended Preliminary Plat for Fox Creek Country Club Subdivision. The amendment was necessary to bring Outlot C from the Blue Ash Subdivision into the Fox Creek Country Club Subdivision. The revised plan also extends a cul-de-sac slightly to serve five homes adding two lots to the Fox Creek Country Club subdivision.
When this phase is constructed Carrington Ln. will be extended from the current dead end at its current west end to Fox Creek Rd. This will not only eliminate the current dead end but will also provide another point of ingress and egress at Fox Creek Road. This extension will result in improved traffic flow and increased safety.
Bloomington Downtown Streetscape Plan Approved by 5 – 4 Vote
Perhaps the most notable thing about this phase of the Fox Creek Country Club Subdivision is that it is the last phase of the subdivision. Cities 92.9 spoke with Craig Earl of Farnsworth Group who has worked on the project throughout its entirety. Earl told us, “The original plan was done in 1994.”
Tentac, the developer, has been working on this project over the past 28 years. The subdivision was originally planned to be built out over 20 years. However, no one could have projected 911, the Great Recession and the Covid-19 epidemic events at that time.
This final phase of Fox Creek Country Club Subdivision is expected to be under construction this year. When completed the subdivision will be home to 769 families.
