State workers in Illinois are about to get a huge raise. Details about the state’s latest contract with AFSCME, it’s biggest public employee union, are leaking out.
WCIA TV in Champaign is reporting that the new deal includes a three-point-six percent raise for next year, and a nearly 12 percent raise over the life of the three year deal.
